Northeastern California Building & Construction Trades Council

About the Northeastern California Building & Construction Trades Council

The Northeastern California Building & Construction Trades Council represents thousands of workers in Shasta, Tehama, Trinity, Lassen, Modoc and Siskiyou Counties.

The Northeastern California Building & Construction Trades Council has a long and storied connection to the construction projects of Northern California. In one way or another, members of the organization have been involved in building nearly all of the North State’s most significant structures and facilities, from Shasta Dam and the Sundial Bridge, to the manufacturing plants and commercial spaces that define our area.

In addition to building projects in Northern California, the Northeastern California Building & Construction Trades Council has also been at the forefront of protecting worker rights, prevailing wage laws, the public contracting code, and many other issues directly relevant to its members. Political activism has also been paramount, with the Council working diligently each election cycle to support candidates and measures that are in line with the interests of the construction industry.
